About Bo Owens and North Eastern
Robert "Bo" Owens grew up on the Outer Banks and has been here his whole life.
Bo started Owens Sand & Grading in 2015 when he was 25 years old. In 2020, he had the opportunity to acquire Northeastern Marine. Northeastern Marine was started by Bill Jones in 1985. Bill started the company by himself running business out of his hatchback car and four hand augers. Today, the company has eleven employees with the office in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
Bo met his wife Kayla in 2009. They married in May of 2017 and had their first child, Cora, in August of 2018. They have two yellow labs and live in Manteo, North Carolina.
